Overview
BDG Studios is seeking a Designer to join our branded design team. This role will work closely with Senior Designers, Associate Art Directors, Art Directors, the Creative Director, and the VP of Design to support both pre-sale and post-sale creative deliverables. The Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams across BDG—including Branded Editorial, Branded Production, Events, Talent Partnerships, Video, Sales, Client Solutions, Social, Editorial, Legal, and Finance—as well as external vendors, agencies, and brand partners to ensure campaigns are executed according to project scope, timelines, and budget. This role plays an important part in bringing branded content ideas to life through pitch decks, mockups, social media design, and campaign assets for both BDG and our advertising partners. The Designer will also have the opportunity to contribute to event materials, internal assets, and design updates across BDG’s owned and operated platforms.
Responsibilities
With guidance from the design leadership team, create high-quality design deliverables for both pre-sale pitches and post-sale campaigns
Assist the design team in developing pitch decks, mockups, and visual concepts for branded custom-shot content programs
Create collages and visual layouts used for mockups and concept development
Resize and prepare images and creative assets for campaigns
Source stock imagery and visual references
Coordinate with BDG Studios teams to support the execution of custom branded content, including articles, social media posts, photoshoots, and other campaign deliverables
Support designers and art directors on larger-scale projects and campaigns
Use project management software (Monday.com) to manage timelines and deliverables
Create and develop event materials for BDG’s tentpole events
Collaborate with the marketing team on brand materials and internal design needs
Maintain design updates for BDG.com and related brand properties
Occasionally assist with photoshoots, events, and production-related design support
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years of design experience in advertising, media, or publishing
Strong understanding of media campaigns and execution of media-only programs
Experience supporting turnkey custom content programs is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills when working across teams
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Excel, and Google Workspace
Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
Experience working with project management tools such as Monday.com
