This position is for an Assistant Residence Manager at Devereux in Clermont, NY. Location: Clermont IRA Salary: comensurate with education and experience. With HS Diploma/GED: 21.50 - 23.00 per hour; With BA/BS: 22.50 - 24.07 per hour; With MA/MS or higher: 23.50 - 25.14 per hour. Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of the residence program. Oversee intellectually and developmentally disabled adults, partner with individuals to facilitate daily care, enhance personal development, foster self-esteem, and meet individualized goals. Supervise and gain experience in program management; develop leadership skills to progress to a house manager position. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with one year of related experience; a Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree with one year of related experience is preferred. Valid New York Driver’s License. Flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and with a sense of humor; strong passion for working with children and adults with special needs. Physical Requirements

Pre-employment physical required. Significant and frequent walking, sitting, stooping, bending, and standing. Outdoor activities with exposure to sunlight and heat. Ability to communicate effectively by phone or in person. Vision adequate to read and use a computer. Good manual dexterity. Core Curriculum (recommended training)
