Overview
National Distribution Sales Manager – Sealants. Location: Home Based, US. Employment Type: Regular. Posting Date: Mar 4, 2026. The National Distribution Sales Manager – Sealants will build and maintain a highly effective Independent Sales Rep. team focused on achieving regional sales plans aligned with corporate goals. Develop strategic sales plans and actions to consistently meet plan. Establish relationships and collaborate with other departments to address key business objectives, challenges and opportunities. Manage relationships with intercompany functions to ensure resources are available and focused on supporting selling programs and the growth/profitability of the Pro-Sales Group. Key Responsibilities Build and improve service group by assessing Independent Rep. base and skills to address the market (40%)
Oversee the tactical execution of the Independent Rep. team’s sales strategies to ensure meeting sales goals and corporate plans through mentorship, timely sales review meetings, and value focused selling. Provide feedback, training, and accountability as needed. Communicate with individual team members on a regular basis to monitor new account pipeline and assure new business development opportunities are being closed. Communicate, strategize, plan, and implement sales efforts with sales team to assure quarterly and annual goals are achieved or exceeded. Hire, coach, train, and mentor a network of independent sales representatives to cover the country. Oversee all Independent Rep. companies’ activity and their customer accounts.
Ensure portfolio has an appropriate go-to-market outlet and established base so contractors find it (30%)
Establish and manage relationships with Pro Distribution companies nationwide, negotiate terms and agreements, establish rebate programs if needed and report to them monthly their progress with our products. Attend sales calls with sales team personnel, communicate regularly with customers, and make sales presentations.
Work with the organization on processes, budget, reporting and intra company collaborative functions (30%)
Manage, embrace, and execute key account plans and business planning process within Segment. Provide sales management, budget control, and commission compensation analysis. Understand and manage pricing in collaboration with Market Manager and Commercial Director. Work with Salesforce CRM to manage customer account base, prospect status and monitor reps’ sales performance and productivity. Collaborate with MarComm team and Market Managers to align with division goals for new product launches and other Marketing initiatives. Use market networks to assess competitor information and customer needs. Use this information for sales strategy, pricing, and reporting to stay innovative and competitive. Define strategies to maintain and grow share within distribution networks, select portfolio by geographical landscape, and attend Annual Vendor shows and meetings. Validate and approve monthly commission payments to Independent Rep. Companies.
Qualifications and Education Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a sales team Four-year degree (Bachelor) in Business or Marketing preferred Strong analytical skills for implementing complex selling strategies and plans Excellent communication skills for group presentations, customer sales presentations, and intercompany communications Proven track record of building relationships with distribution accounts Experience with financial reports, forecasting, and data reporting tools A hands-on approach with product demonstrations and training Excellent organizational skills About Arkema Arkema is a world leader in Innovative Materials for a Sustainable World with the ambition to become a pure Specialty Materials player.
