You will work closely with internal teams to address client needs, resolve issues, and help clients maximize their health insurance benefits.**Responsibilities**A Benefits Account Manager may be assigned any of the following tasks:* Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of health insurance clients, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the policy lifecycle.* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and recommending tailored solutions that fit their health insurance goals.* Collaborate with clients to assess their insurance coverage needs, recommend appropriate plans, and ensure they understand their benefits and options.* Assist clients with enrollment, policy changes, and renewals, ensuring smooth transitions and continuous coverage.* Manage claims processes, working with clients and insurance carriers to ensure claims are processed accurately and promptly.* Resolve client inquiries, concerns, and issues related to their health insurance coverage, acting as an advocate to ensure satisfactory outcomes.* Monitor account performance, identify opportunities to optimize coverage, and proactively suggest ways to improve clients’ health insurance experience.* Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and changes to health insurance laws and policies to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients.* Prepare and present regular reports on client accounts, coverage changes, renewals, and other relevant metrics.* Work closely with the sales, marketing, and underwriting teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and ensure client satisfaction.* Track and follow up on any outstanding client tasks, ensuring that deadlines are met and all requirements are addressed.* Provide clients with educational materials and resources to help them make informed decisions about their health insurance plans.* May be asked to assist with other tasks when necessary.For new business:* Complete steps in Onboarding process including:
+ Set up customer file
+ Enter client into CRM and Sales log
+ Send welcome letter or emailFor existing clients:* Provide day-to-day customer service
+ Assistance with claim issues
+ Answer any questions regarding benefits
+ Resolve any billing inquiries
+ Provide a list of participating doctors in their area as need
+ Additions and deletions of employee**Requirements*** Strong understanding of health insurance products, policies, and industry regulations* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams* Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills* Proficiency win CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other industry-specific tools* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team* A proactive, service-oriented mindset with a focus on client satisfaction and retention**Education/Experience*** Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 2+ years of experience in health insurance account management, sales, or customer service* Health insurance license (or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe)Pay Details:The base compensation range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
