Through projects such as community book sales, silent auctions, and volunteer initiatives, RCRC helps create meaningful connections and opportunities for community engagement.

Position Overview RCRC is seeking a motivated

Social Media & Community Engagement Intern

to help strengthen our online presence and connect with the local community. This role is ideal for a student or early-career professional interested in

nonprofit marketing, communications, digital media, or community engagement .

The intern will help curate engaging social media content, support volunteer communications, and promote community events while gaining hands-on experience managing nonprofit social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Help manage and monitor RCRC social media accounts on

Facebook and Instagram

Assist with

scheduled posts, stories, sharing, and community engagement

Respond to comments and messages and help maintain a positive online presence

Support the promotion of events

Assist in developing

short-form video content and engaging posts

Collaborate with volunteers to post pre-designed materials

Track basic engagement metrics and provide feedback on post performance

Help identify opportunities to increase

volunteer participation and community partnerships

Assist with basic graphic design, photography, or short video editing when needed

Passion for supporting community initiatives

Schedule & Work Style

Flexible schedule

Mostly remote with occasional in-person opportunities at events in

Redlands
