
Territory Sales Engineer (Construction/Civil) - Northeast

Williams Form Engineering is hiring a results‑driven Territory Sales Engineer to grow sales across the Northeast U.S. This is an office‑based role in Collegeville, PA with regular customer and jobsite travel (~25%). You will own customer relationships, drive quoting activity, and aggressively pursue project opportunities while providing the technical support customers rely on to win and execute work.

What You’ll Do (Sales‑First + Technical Execution)
Drive growth across the Northeast territory by expanding existing accounts and developing new business
Own the full sales cycle: customer contact → takeoff/quote → follow‑up → close → order execution
Build and manage a strong pipeline of active bids, quotes, and customer opportunities
Maintain consistent customer touchpoints via phone, email, and scheduled visits to keep Williams top‑of‑mind
Identify project opportunities early and influence product selection before competitors get positioned
Provide technical guidance and solutions for civil and construction applications
Complete material takeoffs from plans and specifications and deliver accurate, timely quotes
Price work intelligently—protecting margin while staying competitive (coordinate with Purchasing/Management as needed)
Create and maintain quotes and orders in Epicor Kinetic ERP with accuracy and urgency
Monitor order status and proactively communicate with internal teams to prevent missed ship dates and customer issues
Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally (changes, returns, credits, delivery concerns, etc.)
Travel within the territory (~25%) to strengthen relationships, support projects, and secure repeat business
Performance Expectations

Account growth and territory revenue performance
Responsiveness, professionalism, and customer satisfaction
Margin discipline and pricing accuracy
Internal coordination that keeps projects moving and customers informed

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high attention to detail
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience a plus)
Ability to travel approximately 25% within the territory
U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
Preferred
Professional Engineer
Prior experience in construction‑related sales, estimating, project management, or field support
Ability to read plans/specifications and perform takeoffs
Epicor ERP experience (or similar)
