Senior Tech Product Marketing Manager, AWS Cloud Resilience
Amazon, Seattle, WA, United States
Job ID: 3201656 | Amazon Web Services, Inc.
Overview Are you a tech-savvy storyteller who can translate complex cloud solutions — including resilience architectures that keep critical workloads running — into compelling customer value? At AWS, we’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager who can shape the future of cloud computing, including how organizations build for durability, continuity, and confidence in the cloud. As the world’s leading cloud and AI provider with 200+ services, AWS needs strategic thinkers who can connect the dots across our portfolio — from helping customers achieve high availability and disaster recovery across multiple Regions to enabling fault-tolerant architectures that meet stringent RTO/RPO requirements. You will work backwards from customer needs to influence product strategy across multiple domains — from Analytics and AI to Security, Developer Tools, and Cloud Resilience.
We’re looking for a unique blend of technologist and business strategist — someone who can dive deep into technical architecture while crafting portfolio-level value propositions that resonate with customers. You’ll partner with product and GTM teams to identify ideal customers, understand their priorities and use cases, shape our portfolio of offerings, synthesize market intelligence, and develop messaging that helps customers understand how AWS can transform their business and protect it.
If you thrive at the intersection of technology and business strategy and want to impact how organizations leverage cloud computing and AI to innovate with resilience and operate with confidence, this role is for you.
Key job responsibilities
Partner with product management and GTM teams to develop portfolio-level strategy documents and guide AWS service prioritization, including defining how resilience capabilities (high availability, disaster recovery, fault tolerance, and business continuity) fit within the broader AWS portfolio strategy and customer value narrative.
Create and own positioning and messaging that clearly articulates differentiated messaging for AWS Cloud Resilience solutions such as multi-Region active-active architectures, AWS Backup, AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery, and the resilience pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
Lead product launch strategies and associated plans, including naming, target audience definition, and marketing vehicles — driving go-to-market motions for new and updated resilience services and features, ensuring launches are anchored in customer outcomes like reduced downtime, faster recovery, and operational confidence.
Develop technical content including presentations, demonstrations, and reference architectures that educate customers on AWS offerings — including resilience-focused reference architectures for mission-critical workloads, multi-Region deployment patterns, and best practices for achieving business continuity on AWS.
Represent AWS as a technical evangelist in executive briefings, industry events, and analyst interactions — articulating AWS's leadership in cloud resilience and how AWS’s infrastructure, redundancy model, and resilience services provide a differentiated foundation for always-on workloads.
Drive field enablement strategies to support product launches, campaigns, and customer success.
Align with technical and business leaders on primary cloud and AI use cases for their specific ideal customer profiles; define best-practice architecture and services for each use case.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
7+ years of direct experience working with customers on cloud technology adoption
7+ years of hands-on experience with cloud architectures in technical domains (e.g., Analytics, Developer Tools, Compute, Databases, Generative AI)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans
MBA or Master’s degree
8+ years of experience communicating with and presenting to executive and senior audiences
Track record of creating compelling technical demonstrations and reference architectures
Strong data analysis skills with ability to synthesize insights from multiple sources
