Director Of Lifecycle Services
The Director of Lifecycle Services provides strategic, commercial, and operational leadership to Foodmate's aftermarket department. This position is responsible for Foodmate aftermarket's financial and operational performance, customer satisfaction, and staff development. As a member of the overall Duravant aftermarket leadership team, the Director of Lifecycle Services - Foodmate - shares in the responsibility for achieving Duravant's overall aftermarket financial and operational growth objectives. This individual will be responsible for a profit center for aftermarket parts and field service in the Americas region. In addition to having responsibility for all commercial parts and service sales activities, this position directs the coordination of technical and administrative service and support activities, including installation, repair, preventive maintenance, training, warranty, and value add solutions to be performed at customer sites. Candidates for this position are expected to be conversant with methods and practices of employee supervision, and project and task management. In addition, they are expected to be generally familiar with the technologies used in the various systems sold by the company, and their appropriate applications. Essential Responsibilities: Provides commercial leadership for all Foodmate's Aftermarket activities in parts, field service, project management and value add solutions. Provides supervision and leadership for all the individuals in Foodmate's Aftermarket team, including overseeing; recruitment, training/employee development, daily workflow, and discipline according to Foodmate and Duravant Policies and Procedures. Functions as a senior member of the leadership teams, both Duravant Lifecycle Services and Foodmate, and participates in executive strategic planning. Is responsible for and continuously looks for methods to grow revenue, increase margin levels and optimize customer satisfaction, while maintaining operational expenses and profitability consistent with budgets. Drafts, implements, and executes policies, procedures, and performance metrics to facilitate quality customer service experience. Actively influences other departments to perform their duties in such a way to decrease overall warranty exposure. Leads in overall product strategy for new and emerging service products. Conducts market analysis to develop service products (e.g. contracts, extended warranties, customer training) that are responsive to customer needs and market opportunities. (i.e. Customer Care, Rebuilds, etc.) Leads and prepares product development objectives and schedules for all phases of product development and introduction to market, including development of marketing, sales, engineering, and financial plans, estimates of potential profits, and release to production. Reviews progress continually throughout product life cycle to ensure attainment of objectives. Directs and coordinates promotion of products manufactured or services performed to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in industry. Develops and maintains cross functional relationships with engineering, marketing, sales, information technology, internal and external customers, analysts, and senior management teams to formulate and execute the strategy. Establishes and manages a strong working relationship and influence across Duravant's Operating Companies, partners, customers and technical experts across target industries and geographies; including with service leaders, account managers, technical sales.
