Overview
Barge Design Solutions is currently seeking to fill the position of Architectural Associate. This role will work closely with Architects on development and design of construction documents and other related tasks. Responsibilities
Assists in portions of analysis, preparation, and modification of construction documents. Activities can involve performing calculations, providing support in programming, design analysis, conceptual drawing, and final design under close supervision. Analyzes reports, maps, and drawings for the built environment. Prepare presentation documents using a variety of computer software programs such as Revit or other relevant programs. Assist in departmental duties such as record-keeping, filing, updating library, and general activities such as periodic purging of obsolete documents. Participates in site visits as needed. Performs other duties as requested. Expectations

Bachelor’s degree from accredited program. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and other essential software and equipment for field and office work. Healthcare experience preferred. Developing knowledge of design, construction procedures, zoning, building codes, and building materials. Walk, sit, and stand. Occasionally reach with hands, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Occasionally climb 25-30 feet. Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. Visual acuity sufficient to read alpha/ numeric symbols for computation and design. Ability to adapt quickly and respond effectively to project issues that arise. Why join us?
