VP / SVP, Multifamily Asset Management

Miami, FL

Fifteen Group Capital is a multidisciplinary real estate investment firm with over three decades of bold, entrepreneurial investing behind it — and a fast-growing multifamily portfolio ahead. We’re looking for a driven, analytically sharp leader to step into a newly scaled VP / SVP of Multifamily Asset Management role and help define what’s next. This is a rare opportunity to take the reins of a complex, high-performing portfolio, build and lead your own team, and shape the asset management platform from the ground up. If you thrive in a high-autonomy environment, move fast, think like an owner, and bring deep multifamily expertise, this role was built for you. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with senior leadership across investments, operations, and capital projects — with real influence over strategy, performance, and the firm’s continued growth across a nationwide portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Platform Development.

Build and scale the firm’s asset management platform as the portfolio grows — including hiring, developing, and leading a high-performing asset management team.

Systems Implementation.

Design and implement the systems, processes, and reporting frameworks that will power disciplined decision-making and scalable portfolio oversight for years to come.

Asset-Level Business Planning.

Develop and execute asset-level business plans, including capital investment strategies and budgets, in close coordination with the capital projects team.

Operations Oversight.

Oversee property operations and supervise property management teams to drive execution of business plans and achievement of performance targets across the portfolio.

Capital Projects Oversight.

Provide strategic oversight of capital improvement and value-add initiatives, ensuring projects align with asset-level plans and deliver on investment objectives.

Portfolio Performance Analysis.

Analyze portfolio performance and operating results, identify trends, and deliver clear, actionable strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Financial Analysis.

Lead financial analysis including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across a large and growing multifamily portfolio.

Market Research.

Stay ahead of market trends, supply pipeline shifts, and competitive dynamics; translate insights into updated asset strategies and business plans.

Acquisition Support.

Partner with the acquisitions team on underwriting, due diligence, and the seamless transition of newly acquired assets into the portfolio.

Refinancing and Disposition Support.

Support asset-level refinancings and dispositions, including financial analysis, preparation of marketing materials, and coordination with lenders, brokers, and internal stakeholders.

Reporting.

Deliver regular, high-quality reporting and performance updates to deal partners and firm principals.

Field Engagement.

Travel regularly to portfolio assets and prospective acquisition targets to engage with property management teams and monitor performance on the ground.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES

Analytical Skills.

Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling strategic recommendations.

Entrepreneurial Mindset.

Energized by a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment — you move quickly, prioritize ruthlessly, and don’t wait to be told what to do.

Problem-Solving Ability.

Exceptional problem-solving instincts with a structured, solutions-first approach to even the most complex challenges.

Communication Skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex analyses clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Attention to Detail.

Rigorous and disciplined approach to financial analysis and decision-making, with a high standard for accuracy and quality.

Technical Proficiency.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager.

Financial Modeling.

Proven ability to build and leverage Excel-based financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio performance analysis.

Organizational Collaboration.

Skilled at working cross-functionally with senior leadership, acquisitions professionals, capital projects teams, and property management partners.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, business, or a related field (MBA or MSRED preferred).

At least 7 years of experience in multifamily asset management and operations.

Experience overseeing large multifamily portfolios (>3,000 units preferred).

Proven track record of managing complex portfolios and executing value-creation strategies.

Proficient in creating and analyzing Excel financial models.

Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
