Kittiwake Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor who loves the Lord, loves people, and feels called to shepherd a church family. We are looking for a humble, approachable leader who will faithfully preach God’s Word, care for people well, and help guide our church with grace and wisdom. Responsibilities
Preach and teach the Word of God with faithfulness and clarity Shepherd the congregation through prayer, pastoral care, and genuine relationships Encourage and equip members for discipleship, ministry, and service Lead and collaborate with church staff, ministry leaders, and deacons Engage the church in local outreach and global missions Biblical & Ministry Qualifications
Candidates must meet the biblical qualifications for a pastor or elder as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:5–9. A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ Strong commitment to Scripture as the authoritative Word of God Formal theological training through an accredited seminary 5 years of pastoral ministry experience preferred, with demonstrated ability in preaching, teaching, and pastoral leadership Heart for shepherding and leading a diverse church family Alignment with beliefs expressed in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 How to Apply
