Hirschler, a multispecialty mid-sized law firm headquartered in Richmond Virginia, is seeking an experienced senior associate or partner attorney to join our growing intellectual property practice group. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative team that handles complex and high stakes matters across a wide range of practice areas.
About the Role: As a member of our intellectual property practice, you will work closely with clients and colleagues on a broad range of matters including trademark and copyright clearance and registration, technology licensing and related transactional matters, trade secret protection, data privacy, and cybersecurity. You will have immediate opportunities for client contact and meaningful responsibility, as well as involvement in transactional issues related to the licensing and sale of intellectual property, software and other technology, and advising on intellectual property and data privacy issues in connection with mergers and acquisitions.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
A minimum of 5-7 years of intellectual property experience, with a focus on trademark and copyright clearance, registration and enforcement, and licensing related matters
Strong research, writing and analytical skills
Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset
Admission to practice in Virginia
