We are looking for a Director, Strategic Sourcing – Infrastructure to join our Indirect Procurement organization. As a Hardware Infrastructure sourcing leader, you and your small team will be the go-to team for our compute, networking, storage and other hardware related sourcing needs. This role will drive the overall hardware category sourcing strategy and will involve partnering with business leaders and executive stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Source compute, networking, storage and other hardware needs. Deliver hands-on sourcing services to the business including RFx execution, negotiations, contracting reviews and other sourcing-related activities. Develop and drive global hardware category sourcing strategy. Be a trusted partner to our business partners in Engineering, IT, Operations, Finance, and Legal.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business, or other quantitative fields (or equivalent experience); MBA is a plus. 15+ years of professional experience. 7+ years of leadership experience. Experience sourcing hardware category in fast-paced enterprise hi-tech environments. Hands-on sourcing experience as part of a small team with strong negotiating skills. Leadership with vision and experience operating at a global scale. Deep category experience and a track record of execution excellence. Comfort with frequently changing business needs and the ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries.
Ways To Stand Out
Sourcing experience at major hyperscaler environments. Experience working with major global hardware OEMs. Experience sourcing test and measurement equipment. Strong presentation skills (oral and written). Experience using Workday Strategic Sourcing and DocuSign CLM.
Compensation and Benefits
Your base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 240,000 USD - 379,500 USD. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
