They unify and motivate cross-functional teams toward strategic thinking and marketing solutions to achieve client business goals. This person can assess perspectives and own the final decision on agency recommendations and escalation issues for their book of business. The SVP, Client Services is an inspiring people leader, motivating team members to deliver for each other and for clients. This individual ensures client satisfaction and sets the pace for developing strong client–agency relationships. They lead and collaborate on initiatives in people development, process improvements, and operational excellence in support of effective client delivery. This person is a skilled relationship builder with deep pharma marketing experience and proven success in senior Account Management roles, capable of leading a team of account professionals and unifying cross-functional teams toward strategic marketing solutions. The role listens, interprets, and anticipates client needs grounded in knowledge of the client’s business, markets, and marketing mix. The SVP, Client Services collaborates with clients and internal teams to generate innovative ideas that drive engagement for client brands and strengthen the client’s business. As a business leader, this individual has strong financial acumen and can manage revenue forecast and margin. They outline financial and staffing issues for executive management and address client, staffing, or financial issues that might risk the business. Client Services Team Leadership Provide strong, engaged leadership to direct team members to meet expectations and achieve organizational, team, and individual goals Establish priorities on brands and contribute to team discussions and problem-solving Demonstrate superior interpersonal skills to lead, motivate, and unify the team and ensure a positive employee experience Coach, mentor, perform development and training for team members Lead and guide a team of VP Account leaders, developing next-level leaders Maintain positive internal relationships across Avalere Health groups Drive client and internal initiatives as an effective agency leader Display business acumen, strong people skills, and high emotional intelligence Act decisively with urgency and self-motivation Lead clients and internal teams toward a unified vision, achieving strategic marketing plans and goals Focus on business objectives with understanding of brand and engagement metrics and sales projections Align marketing efforts with client business goals and landscape Client Relationship Management/Building Lead positive client relationships in complex situations, resolve issues, and strengthen engagement Nurture relationships at senior client levels through regular communication and quarterly business reviews Manage sensitive client discussions, including escalation issues Own final decisions on agency recommendations and escalation discussions Understand how client performance is measured and ground agency solutions in what matters to clients Strategic Advisor Have deep knowledge of the pharma industry and keep pace with client business issues and opportunities Have experience across marketing planning and budget development; contribute to annual brand planning with cross-functional teams Experience with brands through all lifecycle stages, including pre-launch and launch Provide strategic counsel by solving client business problems and delivering recommendations Integrate insights, research, and data analytics into client counsel and recommendations Collaborate with Strategy, Engagement, Creative, Scientific, and Digital leaders to deliver solutions on strategy and client needs Financial Management and Growth Forecast responsibility for LOB accounts with monthly and quarterly updates Collaborate with Business Operations to ensure staffing plans and readiness Attain and exceed annual revenue plans and pursue growth opportunities Ensure Client Services utilization targets are met and address utilization issues Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit top Account talent and maintain a growth pipeline Maintain regular communication with LOB leads to support collaborative growth Contribute to annual business planning About you 20 or more years of experience in marketing or marketing-related roles within the pharmaceutical industry Agency Account leadership experience required Experience in digital marketing and integrated marketing projects preferred Experience leading books of business with yearly revenues of $25 million or more Experience leading teams of account management professionals at multiple levels of 10 people or more Salary : $250,000 - $275,000 a year We are committed to offering a competitive and fair salary that reflects location, qualifications and experience.
