POSITION OVERVIEW: The Senior Manager, Marketing is a strategic, relationship-driven leader responsible for driving ticket sales, audience growth, and brand visibility for a diverse slate of live events—including concerts, comedy, family programming, and special engagements—at Loew’s Jersey Theatre. This role oversees the full lifecycle of integrated marketing campaigns, unifying digital, social, creative, media, CRM, and partnership efforts to maximize event performance and fan engagement. Acting as a central connector across internal & agency teams, touring partners, promoters, agencies, and corporate stakeholders, the Senior Manager, Marketing builds strong, trust-based relationships while managing expectations and deliverables. They balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring cohesive messaging, asset coordination, and best-in-class customer experience across every touchpoint. The role requires fluency in interpreting sales trends, audience insights, and marketing data to inform campaign decisions and identify opportunities for growth. The leader thrives in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to shifting priorities while maintaining exceptional organization, communication, and attention to detail. With a deep understanding of the live entertainment ecosystem, they serve as a strategic advisor and operational driver who champions innovative marketing solutions, leverages emerging digital platforms, and collaborates across departments to deliver high-impact campaigns that elevate the venue’s profile and strengthen its connection to diverse communities. The Senior Manager, Marketing will report directly to the Director, Entertainment Marketing (Prudential Center / HBSE) and partner with the venue’s leadership team to develop and execute the marketing vision of the facility, ensuring alignment with HBSE’s overall business strategy. Responsibilities
Lead the strategy and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that tell the venue’s story, elevate brand & venue awareness, maximize ticket sales, and deepen fan excitement around live events. Oversee cross-team alignment, including external agency support and the existing Entertainment Marketing team at Prudential Center, to support integrated marketing efforts across internal groups and external collaborators. Execute content-driven social and digital strategies that optimize performance across all digital platforms and channels. Stay ahead of industry evolution by identifying trends and leveraging new tools to fuel innovative campaign ideas. Cultivate relationships with community groups and local leaders to expand brand visibility and deepen engagement across varied communities. Develop structured processes and performance management tools to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives. Develop impactful B2B marketing and communications strategies that drive incremental demand and ticket sales, while collaborating with internal HBSE teams to ensure aligned and consistent campaign execution across brands. Analyze sales trends, fan insights, and market dynamics to uncover opportunities for business expansion and deeper community engagement. Use data-driven insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness and ensure delivery against key performance targets. Foster strong stakeholder relationships to maintain excellence in customer experience across all channels. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. At least 5+ years of marketing or advertising experience, with a strong track record in live entertainment, music, and/or comedy. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across a wide range of stakeholders. Solid understanding of the live entertainment ecosystem, including artist management, agencies, tour promoters, and industry workflows. Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, high-pressure environments while coordinating with multiple departments to keep projects advancing. Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, paired with strong project-management and time-management skills. Highly organized, capable of balancing multiple campaigns, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. Deep familiarity with the NY/NJ market and its entertainment landscape. Adaptable and open to evolving processes, with a willingness to learn new tools, systems, and ways of working. Comfortable navigating change with a flexible, solutions-oriented mindset. Dependable team player who collaborates effectively to support shared goals across departments. Skilled at communicating clearly and professionally at all levels of an organization. Adept at cultivating strong internal and external partnerships that support business objectives. Able to leverage data, insights, and performance metrics to inform decisions and guide strategic recommendations. Working Conditions
Travel Requirements: May be required to travel on rare occasions (less than 5%); some trips may require air travel and/or overnight stays. Work Environment: Primarily from Loew’s Jersey Theatre, with potential attendance at events at Loew’s Jersey Theatre or offsite at Prudential Center, including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Compensation and Benefits
The pay range is expected to be between $80,000 and $110,000/year, with base pay varying based on factors such as location, knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is at-will and the company reserves the right to modify base pay and other compensation programs at any time, including for performance, department or market factors. The benefits package may include Medical/Dental/Vision/FSA, pretax transportation benefit, parental leave policies, 401K with company match after 1 year, paid time off, 13 paid holidays, summer Friday half-days, complimentary or discounted sports & concert tickets, onsite fitness facilities, and other league or partner discounts, subject to plan documents and eligibility criteria.
