Financial Analyst - Investor Relations & Capital Markets
The ideal candidate for this opportunity will be a quick-learner, ambitious and interested in finance. This right person for this position will have both a strong sense of "team" and a love for numbers. Requirements are a Bachelor’s Degree, intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and a genuine intellectual curiosity.
Responsibilities ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support of investor relations efforts:
Assisting with aggregation of information from teams across finance including revenue, operations, G&A, D&A, tax, etc.
Preparation of materials for executives to establish important concepts and responses to likely questions from investors and research analysts
Performing market surveillance to keep a pulse on industry and market-wide trends
Analyzing competitor financial statements
Analyzing equity research analysts' financial models and modeling to replicate investor and research analyst points of view
Assisting with project management
Support of key financing projects:
Assisting with research and analysis of financing proposals
Assisting with financial modeling of financing proposals and implications to key business metrics
Partnering with other functions to resolve key issues, including accounting, tax, treasury, and compliance
Preparation of presentation materials for senior leadership and other stakeholders
Attendance of meetings with banks and other key stakeholders
Assisting with project management
Assisting with development and execution of debt compliance reporting
Support of share repurchase and interest rate hedging programs through:
Daily reporting
Assisting with coordination and partnering with Treasury and Legal departments
Assisting with financial modeling and analysis
Preparation of presentation materials and other key deliverables for senior leadership
Attendance of meetings with banks and other stakeholders
Support of ad-hoc projects including but not limited to:
Industry research and preparation of related presentations
Preparation of Board materials
Preparation of Rating Agency materials
ESG reporting and initiatives
Qualifications Candidates for this position will have the following skills and attributes coming in:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
0-2 years of relevant experience
Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; Anaplan experience a plus
Strong knowledge of financial statements
Experience in financial modeling and valuation (DCF, Multiples, IRR, etc.)
Demonstrates strong work ethic and accountability for work assigned
Project management experience
