Rhombus is looking for a Visual Designer who will shape how the world experiences our brand. The ideal candidate loves working on a small marketing team and isn’t afraid of a challenge. You are entrepreneurial, eager to learn, self-motivated, passionate about your craft, and a natural visual storyteller. This role will collaborate closely with other Design, Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to craft engaging creative that will take our brand to new heights.

What You7ll Do Evolve and maintain the Rhombus visual brand identity across channels
Design high-quality assets across web, product marketing, email, presentations, video, social, print collateral, and events
Lead visual execution for events and tradeshows, including brochures, signage, booth graphics, swag, and supporting materials
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to develop creative that clearly communicates Rhombus’ value to a wide range of audiences
Bring our product to life for current and prospective customers through simple, compelling visual storytelling
Present and articulate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional partners and stakeholders
Who You Are As a Visual Designer at Rhombus, you’ll be responsible for shaping how our customers experience our brand. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Design partners to create engaging, high-impact creative across digital, product marketing, and brand touchpoints. This is a unique opportunity to take meaningful ownership of your work, help evolve the Rhombus brand, and build something special as we scale.
What We're Looking For 3-5 years of experience in visual, brand, or marketing design
Proven success with a portfolio demonstrating strong execution, craft, and real-world impact
A strategic, execution-minded designer who understands how creative supports marketing goals, growth initiatives, and brand positioning
Strong visual storytelling skills with a refined eye for layout, typography, color, composition, and visual hierarchy
Fluency in modern design tools used for print, events, and sales materials (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft PowerPoint)
Experience in web design, including creating new website pages and flows for product launches
Working knowledge of print design and production, including collaborating with external vendors and understanding print constraints
Comfort working on a small, fast-moving team, balancing autonomy with collaboration
Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Confidence presenting work and incorporating feedback from cross-functional partners and stakeholders
Bonus Points Illustration and/or icon design experience to maintain a growing custom icon library
Events and tradeshow experience, including booth design and vendor management (e.g., contractors, printers, photographers)
Location Sacramento, CA (hybrid): 3 days/week in the office (Tues-Thurs); SF/Bay Area 1 day/week. Candidates must be able to commute to the office as required.
Work Authorization Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Compensation $80,000 - $110,000
Additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, include uncapped commission, performance incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity. Individual pay is determined based on location, skills, experience, and education. Further details about compensation can be discussed during the interview process.
