This role is not a traditional developer role. It's a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Product / Content Platform role that sits between cybersecurity analysts, engineering teams, and stakeholders. Below is a clear breakdown so you can evaluate candidates quickly.

Role Summary: Intelligence Content Engineer

This position supports Cyber Command's Threat Intelligence program by managing the platform used to produce, track, and distribute cyber threat intelligence reports.

The person acts as a mix of:
  • Product Owner
  • Content Platform Administrator
  • Threat Intelligence Operations Coordinator
  • Quality Assurance Reviewer
They are responsible for ensuring threat intelligence data and reports are properly managed, published, and delivered to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Threat Intelligence Platform Administration
  • Manage OpenCTI intelligence-sharing platform
  • Onboard/offboard users
  • Configure RBAC access controls
  • Provide user training and troubleshooting
2. Intelligence Content Management
  • Manage cyber threat intelligence content
  • Curate and disseminate intelligence reports
  • Track intelligence production metrics
  • Maintain quality standards for intelligence products
3. Quality Assurance & Publishing
  • Final copy editor and QA reviewer for intelligence products
  • Ensure reports are accurate, formatted correctly, and ready for release
4. Product Ownership
  • Manage product backlog
  • Define platform roadmap
  • Work with engineering teams and vendors
5. Stakeholder Coordination
  • Liaison between:
    • CTI analysts
    • internal engineering teams
    • OpenCTI vendor
    • intelligence consumers
