Specific tactics and timelines will be defined with volunteers during discovery. This project will help Mountain Top Cares close a critical funding gap so peer support, education, referrals, advocacy, and other non-clinical services remain available to our rural community (served over 150 people/year). Volunteer support will directly strengthen recovery access and reduce harm and stigma. We have a grant writer and committed staff/board ready to collaborate. Volunteers will be provided background on current fundraising and the $150,000 shortfall, and details will be provided. Leadership will work with volunteers to adopt and begin implementing the plan. Mountain Top Cares Coalition is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and their loved ones impacted by alcohol and substance use disorders, as well as other addiction-related challenges. We provide non-clinical services, including certified peer support, education, referrals, social networks, and advocacy.
