LTP is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented editor to join our editorial team. This role is ideal for someone with an editing background who is eager to use their talent in service to the Church. As part of our mission-driven team, you will work on the development and editing of Catholic resources for parishes and the trade, ensuring they align with our theological and liturgical standards. Key Responsibilities Edit manuscripts for clarity, consistency, and adherence to house style (Chicago Manual of Style). Develop and maintain product lines, ensuring quality control throughout the editorial process. Collaborate with art directors, marketing, and production teams to create resources that meet the needs of the Catholic community. Assist with creating new media products (ebooks, apps, videos). Support product development from concept to completion, including manuscript preparation, permissions, and proofreading. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; English or journalism preferred. Editing experience or related background in publishing preferred Knowledge of Catholic liturgy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. Must be willing to work in Chicago and travel as needed. This position is an onsite role at our office in Chicago and has an annualized salary range of $55,000 – $62,000. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
