The Froebe Group is a leading full-service provider of academic publishing services, established in 2009. Based in New York City, we work with some of the most prominent publishers in the nation. Role Description This is an on-site, part-time role (with an opportunity to transition to full-time) for an academic editor based in the New York Metropolitan Area. The Associate Editor will take on a list of titles and be responsible for managing relations with authors and publishers, evaluating manuscripts, ensuring that new editions come in on time, and keeping an organized and up-to-date record of each title's progress. Qualifications At least 2 years experience in publishing (academic publishing preferred) Strong social skills and the ability to manage authors Strong writing and proofreading skills Ability to work under tight deadlines Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or other writing-forward field #J-18808-Ljbffr
