Video Editor Job at Spiracle in Charlotte

About the Role Spiracle Media is seeking an Editor to bring stories to life across video and social platforms. We’re especially interested in candidates who are not only curious about AI but are also actively using it — particularly in creating short-form social content. While your core strength will be editing, we’re looking for someone who is excited to experiment with emerging tools that can enhance storytelling, efficiency, and creativity. This position is on-site preferred in Charlotte, NC, but we will consider remote candidates for the right fit. Our priority is finding the best creative talent to join our team. Responsibilities Edit both short-form and long-form video content for a variety of platforms Develop and deliver social-first content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) that resonates Collaborate with producers and creatives on storyboarding and project direction Contribute to visual content creation (graphics, photography, motion design if applicable) Apply AI tools to editing and social workflows, testing new methods to improve output Qualifications 5+ Years of editing experience Proven experience in video editing and content creation (agency, freelance, or in-house) Proficiency with Final Cut AND Adobe Creative Suite Strong understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and audience engagement Demonstrated use of AI tools in content creation, especially for short-form social content Bonus: Motion design, photography, or additional creative skills Why Spiracle Media Spiracle Media is a Charlotte-based content agency built on storytelling, partnership, and creative exploration.
