Job Description As an Motion Designer, you will create compelling motion graphics/animations for our video content from animated title treatments, transition animations, end-cards and more.
The Senior Motion Designer will be a leader within the department and needs to be strong in client management skills. The Senior Motion Designer will be supported by studio leadership but is also expected to build strong relationships with clients who then become long-term partners. Must have an in-depth understanding of how to create content that appears in social spaces (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.) and must have the ability to find solutions to quickly turn around projects. A high degree of accuracy, creativity, and professionalism is expected.
Full-time role, currently hybrid status
In-person/in-office minimum of 3 days per week
Travel may be required for production needs
Overtime may be required to deliver on client projects and deadlines
Responsibilities 2D and 3D animation across all verticals (broadcast, OOH, web and experiential projects)
Sophisticated enough design and client management skills to be able to run motion design jobs on their own and find creative solutions that others might overlook
Mentoring Junior and Mid-level Designers to ensure that they are being trained and that creative and technical knowledge is being disseminated
Acting as a Creative Lead throughout the entirety of a campaign and working with other PXP disciplines (editorial, color, mix, etc.) to ensure that the creative vision on every project is reached
Create compelling motion graphics/animations for our video content from animated title treatments, transition animations, end-cards and more
Best-In-Class design ideation to get buy-in on creative before animating
Collaborate with other motion designers to execute on brand creative materials
Enthusiastically partner with peers and internal clients to ensure work meets creative and strategic standards appropriate to the target audiences and brand
Lead creative brainstorms
Expertly guiding our clients through the motion design process
Integrate AI-driven tools into creative and production processes to boost efficiency, elevate content quality, and stay ahead of emerging trends in technology and storytelling
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Advanced motion design experience at a design shop, ad agency, or similar
Expert in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Proficient in C4D
Working knowledge of After Effects Mogrt template creation
Current with motion design trends and practices
Must have a dynamic reel with work in automotive, food/beverage, packaged goods, or beauty
Deep technical understanding of video and the post-production pipeline
Dynamic creative personality
Passionate, driven, proactive, curious and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-expectation environment
Strong sense of priorities with the ability to manage multiple asks/tasks

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
