Lou Hammond Group (LHG) is seeking a Public Relations agency Account Coordinatorto work on a fantastic and fun group of travel/hospitality clients. This position is entry-level for those who have studied Public Relations or related Journalism/Communications major in college and had PR internships. Day-to-Day Activities: Assist with day-to-day client communication Handle media monitoring and account reporting Pitch traditional and online media, follow up editorial opportunities, research new media Support press event planning, attend and participate Participate in brainstorming sessions, develop strategic/creative thinking Research and source marketing partnerships/promotion opportunities, support coordination Develop relationships with media, all platforms Talent/Experience: BA/BS from a four-year accredited university Ideally studied PR, Journalism, English or related Communications coursework Proficiency in Spanish desired but not required Strong detail and organizational skills, sensitivity to deadlines Strong writing skills (AP style), familiar PR software and Microsoft Office programs Travel industry knowledge a plus Seeking to “learn the world” 20 Days Annual PTO + 12 Holidays 401k + Profit Sharing Lou Hammond Group is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
