The successful candidate will be tasked with driving the growth of the SEO practice, ensuring it is both profitable and at the forefront of industry standards. This role involves managing the P&L, aligning the organization around a unified vision for AI SEO visibility and organic traffic, and providing senior sponsorship for key client relationships. The Managing Director will also be responsible for co-leading go-to-market strategies for AI visibility, defining the best partners and technology for client service, and guiding the measurement strategy for SEO and AI visibility. Applicants for the Managing Director of SEO position at the company should be seasoned SEO professionals with a minimum of 12 years' experience, including a strong background in leading SEO teams, developing and executing SEO strategies for enterprise clients, and participating in sales processes. The role requires a deep understanding of SEO from technical, content, and strategic perspectives, as well as a proven track record in hiring, developing, and growing successful teams. The ideal candidate will have a clear vision of how AI and LLMs have impacted SEO and how brands must adapt to enhance their AI visibility.
