Job Description
The Pharmacy Market Experience team is responsible for the production and management of pharmacy-related marketing communications and digital/mobile experience across Blue Shield of California lines of business. The Marketing Communications Specialist, Consultant will report to the Senior Manager, Pharmacy Market Experience. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, stabilization and continued oversight of delegated pharmacy communications, as well as enhancing line of business (LOB) marketing communications through content strategy development, supporting cross-team collaboration related to B2B and sales enablement communications, and managing annual and ad hoc pharmacy marketing/operational communications and pharmacy digital initiatives/programs.

Your Work
Lead cross-functional teams across multiple business units to align on priorities and develop and implement comprehensive pharmacy communications strategies
Develop pharmacy communication programs that incorporate a full spectrum of tools and tactics (from traditional letters to digital content and sales enablement/support materials)
Create pharmacy communications through the eyes of the customer – developing holistic experiences and meaningful touchpoints
Use data to measure success and continually optimize results (open rates, response rates, returned mail, list health, etc.)
Use communication to mitigate risks through crisis management, constituent engagement, and customer service
Serve as pharmacy communications and marketing SME and work collaboratively with internal teams and governance committees to meet corporate and regulatory communication requirements
Manage or lead the work connected with pharmacy annual marketing and operational communications (i.e., pharmacy product cycle changes, AEP enrollment and 1/1 readiness deliverables) for various LOBs
Optimize business processes associated with pharmacy communication management and identify opportunities to engage and supervise service providers as appropriate
Develop and manage marketing collateral, including co-branded member-facing deliverables, pharmacy-specific materials to support B2B communications, request for proposal (RFP) content development and sales enablement collateral
Manage and prioritize day-to-day pharmacy operational tasks, invoice processing/tracking and additional project management duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
Requires prior experience in development and management of healthcare and pharmacy-related communications, product and marketing campaign materials, with demonstrated experience producing government program member communications
Requires prior experience as a copy editor, content strategist and strong project management capabilities to ensure efficient management and implementation of projects with competing priorities
Requires deep experience using project management apps/tools (i.e., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc.), DAM/digital creative platforms (i.e. Adobe Experience Manager, Figma, Wordpress, etc.), Jira/GRID/Confluence and ability to lead projects/sprints using Agile principles
Requires experience in vendor management, including recent or current hands-on experience in end-to-end communications implementation and print production processes
Requires knowledge and experience in digital content and campaign development, strategy and techniques to optimize the digital experience

Our Workplace Model
For most teams, this means coming into the office two days per week.
