Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Advertising Account Executive position. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity which is expected to be doing field work 3x a week and work onsite for the remainder of the week.
Summary
Advertising Sales Representative
We are seeking a motivated Advertising Sales Representative to sell print and digital advertising across our local newspaper, lifestyle magazine, and the official Sanford Visitors Guide. This role focuses on building relationships with local businesses, understanding their marketing goals, and creating effective advertising solutions that drive results.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and sell advertising to local and regional businesses
- Present multi-platform advertising opportunities (newspaper, magazine, visitors guide, digital)
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
- Coordinate with production staff to ensure ads run accurately and on time

Qualifications:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Sales or marketing experience preferred (media sales a plus)
- Comfortable working independently in the community
- Competitive commission-based compensation
