KRQE Media Group is searching for a bold, energetic Anchor/MMJ to lead our Monday–Friday evening FOX newscasts. We want a confident storyteller with a strong on-air presence who can command a two-hour live broadcast, break down big stories, and connect with viewers in a real, authentic way.
This isn’t just an anchor desk role — you’ll be in the field turning daily stories for our late newscasts, bringing fresh ideas to the table, and helping shape original programming for our growing CTV streaming platform. If you thrive on breaking news, creative storytelling, and building a loyal audience both on-air and online, you’ll fit right in.
We’re looking for someone who knows how to spark conversation, grow a strong social media presence, and engage viewers wherever they are — from broadcast to digital.

Produce content for multiple platforms, including TV, internet, mobile, etc.

Work with management to enterprise and develop stories daily

Demonstrate compelling storytelling using dynamic live shots and stand-ups, creative graphics, and use of digital and social media platforms

Organize material, determine angle or emphasis, and write story according to prescribed editorial style and format standards

Gather and verify information regarding stories through interview, observation and research.

Build network of sources who supply information that allows the station to stay ahead of its' competitors

Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills :

Communication/Journalism degree or equivalent years of experience may substitute for education

Minimun (3) years television anchoring or reporting experience required

Solid vocal delivery, camera presence, and clear enunciation

Strong reporting skills

Understand importance of social media

Excellent reading, writing, spelling, grammar and organizational skills

Promotes teamwork and maintains attitude of cooperation with all station personnel

Operate newsroom computer systems
