Job Summary The Set Graphic Designer is responsible for digitally designing all graphic elements that appear on set for camera and ensuring they come together properly during their production and printing process. This role supports the visual storytelling of the project and the specific vision of the Director and Co-Designer that are authentic to our story\'s world, time period and tone. Film/TV graphic design experience is a must, as well as knowledge and comfort with the substrates and materials available for physical production. Working closely with the Co-Production Designer, Art Director, Set Fabrication team and local Vendors for notes and revisions, and to ensure all graphics are cohesive, accurate and production-ready.
Key Responsibilities Design and oversee graphics including signage, posters, labels, logos, murals, maps, packaging, newspapers, screens, and other graphic elements for camera
Collaborate closely with the Co-Production Designer, Art Director, and other Art Department team members to align graphics with the overall visual language of the project
Research and develop graphics that are specific and accurate for our story world
Manage graphics schedule and deadlines, prepare files for print and fabrication, ensure technical accuracy and be pro-actively self-sufficient
Coordinate with the Art Director and Set Fabrication team to ensure proper placement and integration of graphics on set
Revise designs based on creative feedback and production needs, often under tight timelines with a positive approach
Maintain organized files and documentation for approvals, revisions, and final assets within the Studio’s Network and System
Required Qualifications Prior film or television experience in art department graphic design
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong typography and layout skills
Ability to work quickly, collaboratively, and with attention to detail
