We are seeking a Graphic Designer Assistant to provide design and communication supportfor the Utton Transboundary Resources Center's research, policy, and publicengagement initiatives. Under the direction of Center leadership and staff, thestudent assists in developing professional print and digital materials thatcommunicate complex water, natural resources, and environmental policy issuesto diverse audiences, including policymakers, community partners, and academicstakeholders.

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Design policy briefs, research reports, fact sheets, and executive summaries
- Develop infographics and visual materials that convey legal and water policy concepts
- Create event materials, presentation templates, and social media graphics
- Assist with formatting long-form documents in accordance with UNM branding standards
- Maintain organized digital design files and assets
- Incorporate feedback and meet established project deadlines
Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled at the University of New Mexico
- Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments
- Experience with data visualization or infographic design
- Familiarity with layout of policy or academic publications
- Interest in water law, environmental policy, or public service
