Role
Ecommerce Graphic Designer will be responsible for the development of digital design assets for online retailers, direct‑to‑consumer (DTC) website initiatives, customer portal digital elements and digital marketing campaigns including social media and trade media. This position will be based out of our Grand Rapids Innovation Center location working Tuesday and Wednesday in the office; the other days working remotely.
What You Will Do
Build digital creative and front‑end marketing assets that educate and drive action by our various target audiences (distributors, contractors, architects, installers, pros and homeowners)
Create visual rich content and alternate assets for online retailers including Amazon, The Home Depot, Lowe’s, Menard’s and more with the goal of improving customer engagement and driving sales
Create and design B2B and B2C marketing materials for digital media (social media / websites / digital ads / email marketing campaigns)
Work closely and collaboratively with our Ecommerce team members to design visually compelling design assets and content for online retailers
Work with marketing, product management, sales, engineering and other cross‑functional team members to produce digital content
Shoot and edit product images (including 360’s) to ensure they are high‑quality and appealing
Adhere to brand guidelines, such as fonts and colors, for all branded materials
Oversee digital freelance designers / suppliers (as needed) and ensure they stay on task, on time and on target
How You Will Do It
Engage our various target audiences and help move them through the marketing funnel to purchase
Gain a deep understanding of our various target audiences and how they purchase through customer insights and market data
Work cross‑functionally with Ecommerce team members to identify products that need visual content and develop content that drives product sales
Maintain smart sheets (a project tracking format) to ensure all projects are on time and on target
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts or a related field with a minimum of 2 years in an ecommerce environment
360-photography and photography editing experience is required
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with a history of using UX design principles to drive audiences through the marketing funnel to purchase
Experience using Adobe creative suite, Figma and other design software
A history of using AI to quickly design alternate assets
Creative mindset, ability to scale rapidly, creating and executing design strategies and tactics
Expertise in product photography and editing
