Multimedia Designer I (Contractor) Locations: Winchester, VA or Pensacola, FL Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days per week) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (local time) Contract Duration: 6+ months (through 12/31/2026) Overtime: Not available Compensation Winchester, VA: $20.00–$24.00/hr (W2 with PTO) Pensacola, FL: $18.00–$20/hr (W2 with PTO) Position Overview The Multimedia Designer I Contractor will design and develop multimedia assets that support employee learning, development initiatives, and special events. This role requires strong graphic design expertise, with a heavy emphasis on layout, composition, and typography across both static and interactive formats. The ideal candidate demonstrates a solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles and how they influence effective design. This position requires the ability to interpret complex information and translate it into engaging, visually compelling learning materials. Success in this role requires creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment. Due to the hybrid nature of this position, candidates must be self-motivated, highly organized, and possess excellent communication and time management skills. Key Responsibilities Design and produce cohesive, visually compelling branding materials for corporate events, including posters, photo backdrops, and digital assets. Develop interactive eLearning courses using course authoring tools, preferably Articulate 360. Edit and produce digital video and audio content using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition. Implement and manage courses within a Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Oracle LMS. Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex content into effective learning materials. Support client‑driven event planning initiatives with creative design solutions. Maintain brand consistency across all deliverables. Communicate effectively with stakeholders both verbally and in writing. Required Qualifications 1–5+ years of relevant multimedia design experience. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Fine Arts, or related field. Strong expertise in graphic design fundamentals (layout, typography, composition). Experience developing eLearning content using Articulate 360 or similar tools. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition. Experience implementing courses in an LMS (Oracle preferred). High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel. Strong collaboration and relationship‑building skills. Experience working closely with subject matter experts. Preferred Qualifications Experience as an in‑house designer within a large corporate environment. Familiarity with corporate learning and development environments. Strong understanding of UX principles in digital learning design. #J-18808-Ljbffr
