Our client, PA Health Center Technology Alliance, a subsidiary of the Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers (PACHC), serves as the technology partner for community health centers across Pennsylvania. Position Overview The Epic Interface Analyst is responsible for coordinating and managing interface projects between Epic and various third-party applications used by community health centers. This position requires the ability to analyze business needs, design and configure technical solutions, and provide support for the maintenance of interfaces. Regular collaboration with technical teams, application experts, vendors, and health center staff is essential. This is a primarily remote/hybrid position. Applicants must be located in Pennsylvania or surrounding states and able to travel to health center locations within PA for training and mandatory in-person meetings. Responsibilities Manage the entire implementation cycle of interfaces, web services, and industry-standard APIs ﴾such as FHIR﴿, including analysis, design, specification, implementation, go-live, and support Partner with application teams, subject matter experts, and third-party application experts to determine business needs, document requirements, and configure interfaces per the requirements. Partnering with these groups to diagnose and resolve interface-related issues and supporting ongoing application projects as needed. Review, triage, and resolve day‑to‑day interface errors, including coordinating with technical teams, application teams, and third‑party system representatives as necessary Coordinate interface-specific tasks and activities like testing, building, cutover planning, and go-live by engaging subject matter experts, vendors, server and networking teams, Epic Client System Administrators, and interface engine developers Work with interface engine developers to develop data-translation strategies to support the needs of the client and systems Provide proactive support by monitoring live interfaces and collaborating with experts to resolve issues Qualifications 3–5 years’ healthcare interface experience, including HL7 (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT), FHIR APIs, C-CDA, and X12 (837/835). Hands‑on experience with at least one Epic EHR implementation or major upgrade. Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills. Experience in production support for interfaces (preferred). Project management abilities: task tracking, team coordination, and accountability. Epic Bridges certification preferred. If not already certified, candidates must be willing and able to obtain Epic Bridges certification within the first six months of employment.
