WBEN News Radio 930 is seeking Part Time technically-savvy candidates to oversee the control room operation in a multi-faceted LIVE audio environment. The anticipated starting salary range for New York-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $15.50/Hr. Requirements Candidates should possess basic audio board operation skills Digital editing abilities Ability to multi-task and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment Successful candidates will interact well with LIVE on-air talent, be a problem solver and work to keep the operation within mandated FCC guidelines Flexible schedules are preferred A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required Experience Maintain Program and Commercial Log Operation of Audio Control Board for Live, Satellite, Paid and Pre-Recorded Programming Work with Show Hosts Recording and Editing Audio Uploading Audio and Posting Information on Websites…Podcasts Transmission and Reception of EAS Weekly and EAS Monthly Tests Monitoring Broadcast Stations (6 Total) and all Building related emergencies. If problems are detected you will need to notify our Engineer on Call immediately.
