Community Association Manager Job at Professional Bayway Management (PBM) in St.
Professional Bayway Management (PBM), St. Petersburg, FL, United States
Community Manager / Assistant Community Manager (LCAM Required)
Professional Bayway Management (PBM) | Tampa Bay
Professional Bayway Management (PBM) is a long-standing community association management firm serving condominium and HOA communities throughout Tampa Bay. We pride ourselves on strong relationships, consistent execution, and a service-driven approach to community management.
We are seeking a licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM) to join our team. This opportunity is open to both experienced managers and newly licensed professionals who are looking to build a long-term career in community association management.
An active Florida LCAM license is required for this position.
Position Structure and Growth Path
This role may be filled in one of two tracks depending on experience:
Experienced Community Manager
Candidates with more than one year of direct community association management experience may be hired into a full Community Manager role with a starting salary of $75,000 or higher, depending on experience. These managers will be assigned a portfolio of communities and operate with autonomy while supported by PBM’s leadership and accounting team.
Emerging Manager (Assistant Community Manager Track)
Newly licensed LCAMs or those with one year or less of experience may be hired at a starting salary of $55,000. These individuals will begin in an Assistant Community Manager capacity and will work alongside senior managers to learn PBM’s systems, service standards, statutory compliance requirements, and company culture.
During this training period, the Assistant Manager will:
Attend board meetings with senior managers
Assist with vendor coordination and inspections
Help prepare financial packages and board communications
Learn compliance tracking and statutory timelines
As competency, confidence, and readiness are demonstrated, the individual will transition into managing their own portfolio. At that time, compensation will be adjusted to reflect full Community Manager responsibilities.
This structured progression allows managers to fully understand the business, culture, and service expectations at PBM before independently leading communities.
