Overview
The Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager is responsible for keeping a unified brand across all graphics both in print and digital as well as creating and publishing social media messages. They will be the lead graphic designer and brand director for all external communication materials.

Pastor of Creative Arts & Digital Engagement
Personal Requirements
Born again believer, strong Christian character, positive attitude with strong people skills. Demonstrates a high level of integrity. Must be well organized with high quality standards and expectations. Must be self‑motivated, able to prioritize with strong time management skills and ability to work and lead in a multi‑task environment.
Professional Skills
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and
InDesign.
Experience managing social media accounts in a professional or ministry context.
Basic photography and video editing skills.
Strong eye for visual communication, typography and layout.
Ability & commitment to encourage and maintain a Christ‑like working environment.
Experience with production tools (e.g., ProPresenter, cameras, audiovisual equipment)
is helpful not but required.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Branding
Design and maintain the First Redeemer Church brand across all external digital and print pieces in various ministries.
Design creative, high‑quality graphics for sermons, events, ministries, announcements, print materials and digital platforms.
Develop and execute brand templates that ministry leaders and associates can use in communication.
Collaborate with the Communications Director on web and social media designs to ensure brand congruency.
Social Media Management
Work with the Communications Director to plan, create, schedule and publish content across all social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok)
Develop & execute social media strategies that support outreach, engagement, and communication goals.
Monitor analytics, engagement metrics, and trends to improve reach and effectiveness.
Capture and edit photos and short‑form videos (in conjunction with staff and volunteer teams) for social media and church communication.
Production Support (occasional)
Assist in production environments on as‑needed basis (running slides, basic lighting operations, stage design assistance, etc.).
Help prepare and update media assets for worship service, live streams and special events.
