WBNG-TV, the CBS affiliate in Binghamton, NY, has an immediate opening for a bright, motivated on‑air host/producer to take the lead for a local community and client‑focused show called Around the Tiers. Make an even deeper connection with viewers through additional hosting opportunities, including segments and extended programming on our live streaming platforms.
The on‑air host/producer will schedule a wide variety of guests to be interviewed both live and recorded, in‑studio and on location. This individual will produce content for on‑air, online, mobile platforms, and live streams.
$18.00 - $19.00/hr.
Requirements
Energetic individual who greets each day with a smile and has a collaborative team attitude.
Ability to capture the audience’s attention while on‑air, guide narratives, and ensure seamless transitions between segments.
Strong writing and producing skills, and the ability to create and deliver content under deadline pressure.
Experience
Experience with non‑linear editing and the ability to shoot video are pluses.
