Now Hiring: SEO Specialist SEO Specialist Job Summary Madison Liquidators is seeking a full-time, in-office SEO Specialist to lead both onsite optimization and offsiteauthority building for our national office furniture marketplace. This role is responsible for scaling organictraffic, improving search rankings, increasing domain authority, and driving measurable revenue growth acrossthousands of product and category pages. The ideal candidate understands large-catalog e-commerce SEO, technicalsite structure, and strategic link acquisition — and knows how to compete in a national B2B environment. Job Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and resolve crawl, indexation, and performance issues Optimize product pages, category pages, and landing pages for high-intent commercial keywords Improve site structure, internal linking, taxonomy, and content hierarchy Implement structured data/schema for products, categories, FAQs, and reviews Collaborate with developers to execute technical improvements and page speed enhancements Perform keyword research and identify content expansion opportunities Create and execute a backlink acquisition strategy Build high-quality, relevant backlinks through guest posting, digital PR, supplier relationships, and industry outreach Monitor backlink profile health and remove toxic links Analyze competitors and identify ranking gaps Track rankings, traffic, domain authority, and organic revenue performance Deliver monthly reporting with clear performance insights and recommendations Requirements 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience (e-commerce preferred) Proven experience with white-hat backlink acquisition Strong understanding of technical SEO principles Experience optimizing large product catalogs Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and GA4 Ability to analyze data and connect SEO strategy to revenue outcomes Experience collaborating with developers and marketing teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be able to work onsite in Madison, WI Bonus Qualifications Experience in office furniture, B2B, or marketplace SEO Basic HTML/CSS knowledge Experience improving Core Web Vitals at scale Experience scaling SEO for multi-thousand SKU websites Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) Experience managing UTM tracking and multi-channel attribution Employment Application Name Email Phone City State Accepts PDF Files Only, 2Mb Max File Size Resume Accepts PDF Files Only, 2Mb Max File Size Location 2224 Pleasant View Rd.
