Job#: 3020703 Role Summary KeyBank is seeking a junior–mid‑level Technical Content Writer to support API and microservices documentation efforts within an Agile product team. The resource will work on‑site in one of Key’s approved hub locations and collaborate closely with the Lead Tech Content Writer, Product Owners, and API engineering teams. This will be a 1‑year contract with potential extension, likely processed through Workspan. Core Responsibilities Create and maintain API documentation and technical content for new and existing systems. Document microservices, integrations, and product features using tools such as Confluence or similar documentation platforms. Participate as a full member of an Agile scrum team, receiving user stories/tasks and delivering documentation aligned with sprint. Collaborate regularly with the Lead Tech Content Writer for reviews, quality checks, and alignment on documentation standards. Work independently on assigned tasks but present deliverables for stakeholder reviews. Support API‑focused product initiatives and ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and usable for internal teams. Required Skills & Must‑Haves Hands‑on API documentation experience (non‑negotiable). Must already understand what APIs do. Experience documenting microservices. Experience using Confluence or similar documentation tools. Ability to work in an Agile environment and follow defined processes. Strong written communication skills and comfort integrating with business & technical teams. 2–5 years of relevant experience (junior to mid‑level).
