Prepare new generator interconnection applications, including conceptual single line diagrams and compliance verification Review ISO feasibility and system impact studies to guide clients in interconnection planning Conduct independent power system studies, including contingency and stability analyses Perform advanced grid system studies for new conventional and renewable generation projects Write technical reports and proposals to communicate findings and recommendations Qualifications
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with strong academic focus on Power Systems Analysis Minimum of 3 years of power systems engineering experience Knowledge of power regions and ISOs/RTOs (e.g., PJM, MISO, NYISO) Experience in modeling inverter-based resources and renewable generation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications
