PackardDierking, a small, close-knit, well-established firm in Boulder, is seeking an experienced paralegal to join our real estate, estate planning and corporate law team. This position will require the support of attorneys handling real estate, corporate, business, and estate planning. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and is capable of working independently while managing multiple projects. Job Duties/Responsibilities

Draft, review, and organize complex real estate, corporate, business, and estate planning documents. Correspond and work directly with clients Assist with document negotiations by preparing redlines and summaries for attorney review. Coordinate with lenders, brokers, property managers, developers, and opposing counsel throughout the transaction lifecycle. Order, review, and analyze title commitments, pro formas, surveys, zoning reports, environmental assessments, UCC searches, and due diligence materials. Prepare detailed title and survey summaries identifying exceptions, encumbrances, easements, access issues, encroachments, and required curative actions. Work directly with title officers, surveyors, engineers, and municipal agencies to resolve defects and satisfy title underwriting requirements. Maintain and manage complex closing checklists; track deliverables and deadlines for multi-party transactions. Prepare and review settlement statements, closing statements, closing instructions, escrow agreements, and funding authorizations. Coordinate execution, notarization, and delivery of closing documents; ensure proper recording, payment of recordation taxes, and satisfaction of lender requirements. Form, register, and maintain commercial real estate entities (LLCs, LPs, corporations), including drafting operating agreements, membership certificates, and organizational charts. Manage compliance filings such as annual reports and good standing certifications across multiple jurisdictions. Review ALTA/NSPS survey standards and ensure compliance with lender or investor requirements. Prepare and draft ancillary and basic estate planning documents. Coordinate and facilitate signings for estate planning clients. Prepare, manage, and oversee all probate filings. Administrative & Transaction Management

Manage document organization using document-management and deal-management platforms. Draft correspondence and transaction timelines. Maintain and manage attorney calendars and filing systems. Qualifications/Education

3–6+ years as a paralegal with

substantial experience in commercial real estate transactions . Education & Certifications

Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program strongly preferred. Notary Public certification preferred. Technical Skills

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and Adobe. Experience with e-recording platforms, AdobeSign and document management systems. Familiarity with ALTA forms, lender checklists, title endorsements, and commercial survey standards. Core Competencies
