Not available Our client in the industrial distribution industry is looking for an Entry-Level Manufacturing/Industrial Account Specialist to add to their team in Auburn, MA. In this role, you will manage and support existing strategic accounts. You will be responsible for managing inbound requests, evaluating bids, and preparing quotes for your assigned customer accounts. Most of your days will be spent working over email: analyzing technical material specs, coordinating with purchasing, pricing to hit margin targets, and keeping customers informed. To be successful, you must be curious, organized, steady under pressure, and willing to ask questions until you understand the “why” behind each opportunity. Responsibilities

Serve as main contact for 10–15 key accounts

Own day-to-day communication with assigned customers, mostly via email

Manage inbound RFQs, bids, and commercial questions for assigned accounts

Review bid packages and decide which opportunities to quote or decline

Coordinate with purchasing to source material and confirm availability

Build accurate quotes that balance margin goals and competitiveness

Interpret customer material specs using training and internal resources

Send timely quotes, order confirmations, and revised documentation

Provide proactive order status updates and resolve account issues

Maintain organized account records in Outlook, ERP, and shared files

Partner with outside sales and operations to support account projects

Join occasional customer visits or industry conferences as needed

Qualifications

Engineering coursework, Manufacturing/Industrial, or Quality Assurance exposure required

Comfort with learning to read technical specifications and blueprints required
