Position Summary

**WE ARE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION FROM ALL STUDENTS REGARDLESS OF WORK STUDY AWARD** The Anderson School of Management is seeking qualified students with a positive, can-do attitude to provide administrative support to the Anderson School of Management’s Center for Sales & Business Development. This role serves as an administrative assistant to the Anderson Sales Center ( https://salescenter.mgt.unm.edu/ ), performing a range of administrative activities that support ongoing operations and activities. Duties and Responsibilities: Attends regular meetings to plan the upcoming work for the Sales Center Organizes Sales Center networking events Organizes logistics for internal and national sales competition events and teams Organizes awards and recognition ceremonies Organizes logistics for advisory board meetings Liaises with Sales Center corporate partners Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Work schedules are flexible and will be worked out with the supervisor before beginning employment. Minimum Qualifications

Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress. Preferred Qualifications

Has previously completed a sales and/or business development course at UNM, specifically: MGMT 384 Professional Selling; MGMT 484 Advanced Sales; MGMT 586 Business Development. Knowledge of sales and business development principles and practices Organized, responsible, and professional orientation toward job responsibilities and role. Experience with HubSpot or SalesForce or similar CRM systems Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools Ability to use independent judgment and to gather, manage, and impart information to internal and external audiences Availability of approximately 10 – 25 hours per week during regular business hours Application Instructions
