A global law firm is seeking an experienced Probate, Trusts & Estates Paralegal to support the San Diego team. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable handling sensitive financial and family information with strict confidentiality. This is a hybrid opportunity that requires at least 2 days/week of onsite presence. The Paralegal will be expected to meet a billable requirement of 1600 hours annually. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and file probate documents and manage dockets across California courts Marshal estate assets and obtain valuations Assist with federal estate and gift tax returns Prepare and file trust‑transfer documents (deeds, assignments, transfer forms) Coordinate with financial institutions on account retitling and beneficiary updates Prepare fiduciary accountings Draft probate petitions, trust documents, pleadings, and declarations Track deadlines, filing requirements, and case progress Support attorneys with general probate, trust administration, and litigation tasks Qualifications

5+ years probate/estate planning paralegal experience in a law firm Ability to handle all aspects of estate planning, probate, trust administration, and probate litigation filings Strong organizational, communication, and client‑service skills The compensation range for this position includes a base salary of $90,000-$117,000, a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance (including an HSA option), short-term and long-term disability insurance, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, healthcare and dependent care FSA, 401(k), vacation and sick time, employee assistance program, and additional voluntary benefits.
