Conducts inventory, purchasing, storing and preparation of food according to the provided menus and regulations. Establishes and maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards. Provide leadership and supervision of dietary staff employees including hiring, evaluating, and recommending pay raises of employees. Establishes and maintains records/receipts regarding dietary operations. Submits purchase invoices and receipts to the appropriate staff for processing to include coding as requested. Orders all supplies and maintains inventory control. Qualifications

This position oversees a culinary team, dishwashers, and dining room servers to provide three meals per day seven days a week in a restaurant-style setting for up to approximately 126 Residents. The Dining Services Director will be responsible for hiring, training, monitoring, and supporting staff; and at times it will be necessary for the Dining Services Director to cover cooking, serving, or dishwashing shifts in the event that coverage cannot be coordinated with the staff or until a new hire can be secured.
