You will lead the end-to-end proposal development process for U.S. federal government opportunities, playing a critical role in Clearspeed’s public sector growth. Operating within RevOps, you will partner closely with Business Development, Sales, Product, Legal, and Security teams to produce compliant, compelling, and winning proposals. You will bring structure, discipline, and strategic insight to the federal procurement process — ensuring Clearspeed’s innovative technology is clearly positioned to meet mission needs and acquisition requirements. Responsibilities
Manage the full proposal lifecycle for federal opportunities, from pre-RFP planning through submission and post-submission activities. Lead proposal planning sessions, kickoff meetings, schedules, and work plans to ensure on-time delivery. Interpret RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and other solicitation documents to ensure compliance with all requirements. Coordinate cross-functional contributors to develop technical, management, past performance, and pricing volumes. Serve as the central point of contact for proposal activities within RevOps. Ensure proposals are clear, compelling, and aligned with customer mission priorities and evaluation criteria. Implement proposal best practices, templates, content libraries, and knowledge management processes. Manage color team reviews and incorporate feedback into final submissions. Oversee production, formatting, and submission through in-house tools and government portals. Track proposal metrics, lessons learned, and win/loss insights to improve future performance. Support sales and business development teams with proposal strategy, compliance matrices, and solution alignment. Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to federal procurement regulations. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 7+ years of federal proposal management experience, preferably in technology or government contracting. Deep knowledge of U.S. federal procurement processes and regulations (FAR/DFARS). Proven success managing winning proposals for federal agencies. Strong project management and organizational skills. Exceptional writing, editing, and communication abilities. Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment. Familiarity with proposal tools, collaboration platforms, content management systems, and AI-enabled tools Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance is a plus. APMP certification or equivalent training is a plus. Who we are
