
Staffing Sales Manager

Overview
Work Model: 100% Remote with Local Client Travel Employment Type: Full-Time NextStep Recruiting is a collaborative staffing firm where sales and recruiting operate as one team. We are hiring a Business Development Manager to expand our client base across IT and Professional Services in the DFW market. This role is designed for sales professionals who value partnership and delivery. There are no sharks, no internal competition with recruiters, and no moving goalposts. We offer base salaries with no draws and a best-in-class commission structure that has never changed, rewarding performance without creating burnout or internal friction. This is a fully remote role, but candidates must be local to DFW and comfortable with frequent in-person client meetings.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop new client relationships for staffing and recruiting services
Sell contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire solutions
Conduct a minimum of 5 in-person client visits per week
Build, maintain, and actively work a targeted account list
Engage directly with hiring managers and decision-makers
Partner closely with recruiters to ensure strong delivery and client satisfaction
Track accounts, activity, and opportunities in Loxo (ATS/CRM)
Performance Expectations / KPIs
Active and well-maintained target account list
Consistent pipeline development and account growth
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in agency staffing business development
Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills
Experience selling contract, CTH, and direct hire services
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Strong follow-through and organizational skills
Must be local to the DFW area
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling into IT and/or Professional Services
Existing DFW market relationships
Familiarity with ATS/CRM tools such as Loxo
