Donor Engagement Specialist
The Donor Engagement Specialist is responsible for administering Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio's customer relationship management system. The Donor Engagement Specialist is also responsible for promptly organizing external interactions and relationships, developing modern data integrity standards and internal processes, and strengthening peer-to-peer fundraising platform set-up and utilization Position Abilities/Competencies: Customer Relationship Management Record conversations and other communication with current and prospective donors in the customer relationship management system (CRM) Periodically update contact information for current and prospective individual and corporate donors in the customer relationship management system. Develop and analyze reports necessary for department leaders to identify critical donor insights and emerging donation trends. Develop and implement updated data integrity standards and internal processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and quality of data stored in the customer relationship management system. Train department staff on changes to internal procedures, reporting processes, and other matters related to the customer relationship management system. Set-up peer-to-peer fundraising platform, when necessary, and strengthen utilization of its latest features. Donor Engagement & Stewardship Draft and send donation-related correspondence and communications, including, but not limited to, donation acknowledgment communications, tax letters, and personalized email messages. Champion Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio's mission and engage with current and prospective donors and volunteers at various fundraising, outreach, and awareness events. Collaborate with the Major Gifts Officer to review the current Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio Stewardship Plan and recommend updates to the Chief Mission Engagement Officer. Design internal process for implementing approved revisions to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio Stewardship Plan. Export segmented donor data for use in donor engagement and stewardship-related activities and reporting. Identify best practices and emerging trends in donor relations and stewardship and share relevant insights with Major Gifts Officer Collaborate with the Major Gifts Officer to report on donor engagement and stewardship activities at staff meetings and various working groups Administrative Operations & Support Adhere to strict confidentiality and disclosure requirements to protect the youth at the center of BBBSCO's mission and protect the interest of donors invested in our mission. Perform and facilitate execution of miscellaneous administrative activities for the Mission & Engagement Team Prepare materials, documents, tracking reports and other correspondence when requested by the Chief Mission Engagement Officer Greet visitors at the BBBSCO corporate office and answer phone calls, when necessary Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Minimum of two years' working experience in a related field. Working knowledge of database systems. Salesforce experience a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong communication skills written and verbal. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, time management skills, and attention to detail. Project management skills a plus
