Position Overview We are seeking a customer-focused
In-Store Sales & Customer Experience Specialist
to join our Indianapolis location. This role is responsible for assisting walk-in customers, managing incoming leads, preparing estimates and proposals, and maintaining consistent follow-up with prospects. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience while helping drive revenue growth.
Schedule This is a full-time, in-store role with the following schedule:
Monday – Thursday:
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday:
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Every Other Saturday:
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
Assist and engage with walk-in customers in the showroom
Respond promptly to incoming leads and inquiries
Prepare estimates and proposals for prospective customers
Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects who have not yet closed
Maintain detailed, organized client records
Support revenue growth through disciplined follow-up and excellent customer service
Learn and utilize internal software systems for accurate estimating, order processing, and client management
Occasionally visit customers' homes to assist with product selection and take measurements for accurate estimates
Maintain a professional presentation and attention to detail during in-home visits
Continue developing product knowledge, installation understanding, and design expertise during downtime
Contribute ideas and content to support social media and marketing initiatives
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple leads and follow-up tasks consistently
Comfortable learning and using internal software systems
Professional demeanor for both in-store and in-home customer interactions
Interest in product knowledge, design, and home improvement environments is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Sales experience is helpful but not required; candidates with 1-2 years of sales or customer-facing experience are preferred
Interest in product knowledge, design, and home improvement environments
Work Environment This role is
primarily in-store at our Indianapolis showroom , with occasional in-home customer visits to support product selection and measurement for accurate project estimates.
