Deputy National Finance Director
Debbie Mucarsel-Powell's campaign for U.S. Senate is seeking a Deputy National Finance Director to join a growing finance team. The Deputy National Finance Director will work with the National Finance Director to oversee the campaign's fundraising and develop the campaign's in-state and national presence. Responsibilities: Work with National Finance Director in developing and executing in-state finance program, updating cashflow, and in managing the operations of the finance department Help hire and manage in-state fundraising team Oversee in-state fundraising events schedule and the team's execution of events Cultivate, build, and maintain relationships with high level donors Staff events and candidate as needed (some national travel may be required) Other responsibilities as required Qualifications: 2+ cycles of campaign fundraising experience Prior event planning, donor maintenance, and principal management/staffing experience Prior working experience with NGP 8, ActBlue, Word, and Google Sheets/ Excel Strong writing, organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and passion for the work Flexible and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation A strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, equity and anti-racism Valued Non-essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Florida ties Spanish fluency Prior staff management experience Experience managing a call time for a principal Location: This position is based in Miami, FL and will involve some travel around Florida and nationally. Benefits: The campaign offers a health care plan that covers 100% of employee medical premiums. Salary: The salary for this position starts at $7,000 per month with the exact salary depending on experience.
